Job Overview:

  • Work Schedule, 2-2-3, 12 hour Night Shift, 6p - 6a
  • As an Operations Tech in the Cellar, you will work in the elements (outdoors) occasionally and participate in all phases of Beverage Making process and bottling production as assigned, as well as the care, maintenance, and sanitation of all equipment and facilities. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely operates all assigned pieces of equipment to meet established production goals.
  • Under general supervision, supports Cellar operations by completing tank CIP, equipment CIP, filler CIP, bulk ingredient and liquid receiving and shipping, and sampling.
  • Under direct supervision, supports Cellar operations by assisting in batch blending, ingredient additions, carbon loading/unloading, and carbonator operations.
  • Knows when to enlist Cellar leadership when process troubleshooting is required.
  • Possesses basic understanding and knowledge of production systems, such as Winemanager and LIMs.
  • Works on various truck and rail stations for both shipping and receiving as per work orders and truck schedules.
  • Executes bottling line CIP (Clean In Place) change overs.

What You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate, plus one 1 year of beverage production or manufacturing experience.

  • Required to be physically capable of executing any job tasks within the scope of responsibilities for Cellar operations.

  • Required to lift, roll, and carry up to 60 pounds.

  • May be required to work a rotating shift/schedule (e.g., day, swing, graveyard, 5x8, 4x10). 

  • Required to work weekends and overtime, as necessary. 

  • Required to wear a respirator, when necessary.

  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting, and executing simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

  • Required to work at heights and in confined spaces.

  • Required to comply with company GMP policies.

  • Skilled in writing simple correspondence.

  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing using whole numbers.

  • Basic knowledge and data entry into production/quality systems.

  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: Set Rate listed as $19.50 - $19.50 /hr
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
