Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a 2nd shift maintenance technician to join our team at La Crosse Milling Company in Cochrane WI. The ideal candidate should have the desired skills and experience listed below.  Pay range is $22 per hour to 30$ Per hour depending on experience and skill level. Essential Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair all plant equipment
• Fabricate/weld needed equipment parts
• Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment
• Maintain plant grounds as needed
• Complete all required paperwork
• Follow all food safety procedures and regulations to ensure product quality and safety.

Non-essential Job Functions

• Assure GMP are followed
• OSHA Compliance

Requirements

• Strong mechanical ability
• Basic knowledge of electricity
• Knowledge of stick & wire feed welding
• Experience in handling shop power tools
• High-school diploma – GED equivalent

Other Skills/Abilities

• Strong math skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Good communication skills
• Work in hot and cold, dusty environment
• Availability to work scheduled on call and weekends
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
