Morris Central School has the following position available: Mechanic/Bus Driver CDL Class B license is preferred. Starting pay: $20.70/hour depending on experience. 12-month position, 8.5/day (including lunch). We are seeking a skilled and reliable School Bus Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure the safety and efficiency of transportation for students. Key duties include conducting routine inspections, diagnosing mechanical issues, and performing repairs on engines, brakes, transmission systems, electrical systems, and other components. The mechanic will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and assisting in the installation of new equipment when necessary. Applicants should have strong mechanical knowledge, a valid driver's license, and experience in vehicle maintenance or automotive repair.
