Our Weatherization/Energy Services team is hiring new and experienced installers and tradespeople to retrofit residential homes with energy-saving devices and systems.

Responsibilities include: Installing insulation and windows, air sealing residential buildings, cleaning, tuning, and repairing heating systems, and other tasks as directed in work plans Organizing materials for daily work activity Driving and proper care of agency work trucks Complying with safety rules and guidelines This position works four, 10-hour days and is provided a uniform, tools, and transportation to job sites.

Qualifications: High School Diploma/equivalent; 2-years’ experience in residential construction, weatherization, carpentry, or similar field; ability to safely use hand and power tools including ladders; an understanding of building construction and materials; a valid New York State driver's license; obtain certifications as required by program.

Pay Range Guide: Standard Start Rate - education and experience meet job requirements Advanced Start Rate - education and experience exceed job requirements (subject to approval)

Pay Range: $17.49 - $20.11 per hour
