Craftsperson - Custom Furniture

Rustbelt (formerly Rustbelt Reclamation) is proud to fabricate quality custom furniture from both local and unique wood species in our Cleveland, Ohio production facility. We take pride in our Midwest roots, where our work ethic and innovative spirit runs deep. We design and build in a former manufacturing space that was founded in 1872 while keeping a modern view of sustainability front and center. In a disposable world, we embrace the philosophy that products should be built to last, not thrown away.

Rustbelt has an immediate opening for a Craftsperson. 3+ years woodworking experience is a must. Ideal candidates have experience working with solid woods, veneers and sheet goods for commercial clients. Qualified applicants should be able to:

• Effectively, efficiently and safely operate a variety of woodworking equipment and tools

• Interpret shop drawings and build to their specifications

• Work effectively in a team environment as well as independently

This is a full-time position. Hourly rate based on experience. Medical, dental, vision and 401k plans offered upon meeting eligibility requirements. PTO provided for holidays, sick leave and vacations. All employees at Rustbelt Reclamation are expected to be nimble, wear a lot of hats, and support everyone on the team. We are a tight knit group that appreciates collaboration and is open to receiving input from everyone on the team.
