GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Reports to Maintenance Supervisor
General Function:
Assigned to SFPS facilities and property to provide services as assigned. Performs a wide range of duties. Employee is expected to work cooperatively with other maintenance staff, principals, and school/department staff, construction management staff, and district contractors to provide needed services.
Education/Training Experience:
Minimum: High School Diploma or GED; prior manual labor experience; any combination of diversified maintenance experience and/or training in maintenance trades equaling three (3) years of experience; knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, materials and equipment to perform the jobs; knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions for the applicable trades.
Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish & English.
